Use the Speak AI MCP server tool update_comment to edit the text of a comment.
What does it do?
Edit the text of a comment. Only the comment’s author can edit its text (403
otherwise). To resolve or reopen a thread, use resolve_comment. The change is
recorded in your Speak Notifications under Comment (type comment).
Parameters
update_comment takes 3 parameters, all of them required.

Behaviour
The Speak AI MCP server publishes these behaviour hints for update_comment.
- Can change data in your workspace.
- Can delete or overwrite data. Use with care.
- Repeating an identical call is safe.
- Stays inside Speak AI. Does not reach other systems.
