archive_label is a tool in the Speak AI MCP server. Archive a label so it can no
longer be applied; archiving a group archives its labels too.
What does it do?
Archive a label so it can no longer be applied; archiving a group archives its
labels too. Labels already applied to transcripts stay where they are, and
restore_label undoes this. Safe to repeat. Returns archivedCount. Requires the
labels delete permission (owners and admins by default). The change is recorded in
your Speak Notifications under Label (type label).

archive_label takes 1 parameter, all of them required.

Behaviour
The Speak AI MCP server publishes these behaviour hints for archive_label.
- Can change data in your workspace.
- Can delete or overwrite data. Use with care.
- Repeating an identical call is safe.
- Stays inside Speak AI. Does not reach other systems.
