# Update Voice Question

`update_voice_question` is a tool in the Speak AI MCP server. Partially update a
voice agent question: only the fields you send are changed.

## What does it do?

Partially update a voice agent question: only the fields you send are changed.
Requires the OWNER or ADMIN role. agentId and templateId are fixed after create;
sending them is silently dropped.

## Parameters

`update_voice_question` takes 9 parameters, 1 of them required.

## Behaviour

The Speak AI MCP server publishes these behaviour hints for `update_voice_question`.

- Can change data in your workspace.
- Can delete or overwrite data. Use with care.
- Repeating an identical call can have an extra effect.
- Stays inside Speak AI. Does not reach other systems.
