# List Voices

Use the Speak AI MCP server tool `list_voices` to list the text-to-speech voices
available to a voice agent.

## What does it do?

List the text-to-speech voices available to a voice agent. Use the returned
provider/voiceId with `create_voice_agent` or `update_voice_agent`'s voice field.
When an agent's llm.model is a Live (speech-to-speech) model, its usable voices are
a fixed, smaller set scoped to that model instead of this full catalog.

## Parameters

`list_voices` takes no parameters.

## Behaviour

The Speak AI MCP server publishes these behaviour hints for `list_voices`.

- Only reads data. Does not modify your workspace.
- Does not delete or overwrite existing data.
- Repeating an identical call is safe.
- Stays inside Speak AI. Does not reach other systems.
