# Add Voice FAQ Suggestion

`add_voice_faq_suggestion` is a tool in the Speak AI MCP server. Write an FAQ
suggestion's question/answer into the voice agent's attached knowledge base as a new
document, and mark the suggestion added.

## What does it do?

Write an FAQ suggestion's question/answer into the voice agent's attached knowledge
base as a new document, and mark the suggestion added. Requires the OWNER or ADMIN
role. Fails with 409 if the suggestion was already added or dismissed, or if the
agent has no knowledge base collection to write into.

## Parameters

`add_voice_faq_suggestion` takes 4 parameters, 2 of them required.

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `agentId` | string | Yes | ID of the voice agent (from `list_voice_agents`) |
| `suggestionId` | string | Yes | ID of the suggestion (from `list_voice_faq_suggestions`) |
| `question` | string | No | Overrides the suggested question. |
| `answer` | string | No | Overrides the suggested answer. |

## Behaviour

The Speak AI MCP server publishes these behaviour hints for
`add_voice_faq_suggestion`.

- Can change data in your workspace.
- Does not delete or overwrite existing data.
- Repeating an identical call can have an extra effect.
- Stays inside Speak AI. Does not reach other systems.
