# Get Embed Session Summary

`get_embed_session_summary` is a tool in the Speak AI MCP server. Owner analytics
for an embed: totals across its visits for a date range.

## What does it do?

Owner analytics for an embed: totals across its visits for a date range. Returns
KPIs (sessions, unique and returning visitors, identified viewers, average active
time, media opens, time watched, questions and sessions with questions), sessions
and visitors per day, top traffic sources, and a paged table of media with opens,
unique viewers, plays, time watched, completion rate, questions and downloads.

## Behaviour

The Speak AI MCP server publishes these behaviour hints for
`get_embed_session_summary`.

- Only reads data. Does not modify your workspace.
- Does not delete or overwrite existing data.
- Repeating an identical call is safe.
- Stays inside Speak AI. Does not reach other systems.
