# Folders

Every recording, transcript, and note in Speak AI sits in a folder.
[Folders](/help/folders/manage/) organize by project or client, [tags](/help/folders/tags/) cut
across folders,
[saved views](/help/folders/saved-views/) remember the columns each folder should show, and
[Spotlight search](/help/folders/search/) finds anything, full transcript text included, from
anywhere in the app with Cmd+K.
